Jonathan Schroeder was the first lap leader in the Jack Pines Resort IMCA Hobby feature but by the second time around, Brett McConnell was at the point. He was being challenged by Ben Davis and Chad Volk but a yellow flag came out and McConnell went to the work area. He rejoined the field but two laps later went into the pit area. The race was then controlled by Cory Probst who led the remaining laps to win. Brad Becker got around Chad Volk and Jordan Robinson but wasn’t able to get by Probst and settled for 2nd.
The entire Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact race was led and won by Gary Grabill who started on the front row and won the race. Alan Lahr took 2nd and Gary Schumacher took third gaining 6 positions in the race.
Craig Groebner started in pole position and led the first half of the eXmark Outlaw feature until Dan Eckblad who had started in 9th place was challenging for the lead. By the 9th lap, he passed 8 cars and got around Groebner who left the race and then was battling with Rod Manthey. Manthey settled for 2nd ahead of Karl Hewitt Jr.
There was two leaders in the Rice Companies IMCA RaceSaver feature, Justin Allen starting on the pole took off and had a great lead but a 2nd lap yellow was thrown when Hannah Graf got loose going into turn #2 and both the cars of Kyla Anderson and Andrew Allen had to stop to avoid getting hit causing a restart on lap 2. Justin once again took off but the 56 of Bill Johnson was right behind him and gaining ground lap by lap. Also behind them was the 30 of Matt Johnson and Brett Allen exchanging spots throughout the race. Another yellow flag came out on lap 7 when the throttle of Bruce Allen’s car had troubles. On the restart Bill was able to motor past Justin and take over the lead. Son Matt and Brett Allen were again battling each other but in the end, Bill won the race with Matt taking 2nd and Brett taking 3rd. a
Charlie Rustman led the first 5 laps of the Arlington State Bank IMCA Sport Modified feature. By lap 6 Matt Looft who had started 10th was up to the front vying for the lead and was able to take dive past Rustman for the lead. After 5 more laps the 49 of Matt Hollerich also got by Rustman and was gaining on Looft but he was also contending with Ben Reierson for the 2nd spot. As the white flag came out, Reierson was in 2nd but couldn’t catch Looft as he took the checkers first, Reierson finished ahead of Hollerich and Rustman held on for 4th.
The B&B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car feature saw 26 cars start the feature and side by side, 3 and 4 wide racing throughout. Luke Trebelhorn led every lap except the one that counted. The race also saw several yellow flags with the first one being on the 2nd lap with Josh Larsen ending his night. The next one was when cars got together on a restart and causing another restart. The next one was when 110 of Ken Tietz got too high in turn #3 and went off the top side of the track. Throughout these yellow flags, the 81 of Matt Speckman was able to move forward lap by lap and by lap 10 he was in 2nd place following Trebelhorn, the two were side by side several laps with Shaun Bruns sandwiched between them. As the white flag came out, they were all going into turn #4 together and Bruns was able to get below Trebelhorn and win the race by inches at the finish line to make for an exciting ending. Trebelhorn took 2nd ahead of Speckman.
There were also three different leaders in the Ottomotive Tire & Repair IMCA Modified feature in remembrance of Jeff Rucks. Trent Loverude drew #1 and started on the pole, Clint Hatlestad who started in the 2nd row moved right to the front with him, by the 8th lap, Hatlestad was the leader but only for 2 laps as Loverude retook the position. A yellow came out for a spinning car and on the restart, Hatlestad was in 2nd behind Loverude once again but Brandon Beckendorf was also in the mix. Three laps later Beckendorf put the pressure on and as they were coming in for the white flag, it was Beckendorf leading the pack. He held on for the win with Loverude taking 2nd, Hatlestad in 3rd and Dalton Magers taking 4th.
